Sophie Xiang is a self-taught smartphone wildflower photographer who started her journey five years ago. She captures the unique beauty of the Australian native flora, and learning botanical knowledge is her absolute passion. Sophie enjoys the simplicity and convenience of the phone and has done lots of practice and extensive research on what to expect from your phone, and how to become better at photography. Sophie has been very privileged to have been invited to many workshop events like festivals, libraries, community groups and art exhibitions. Her story has been featured in ABC Gardening Australia and her social media page has been widely shared with millions of others. Sophie is looking forward to sharing her experiences with like-minded people.
