Rosemary Argue

Rosemary Argue is an emerging historical fiction author whose writing is inspired by place – historical or natural. Her current project is a young adult novel, set in part in King George Sound, that she started writing while Writer in Residence at Vancouver Arts Centre. She is also working on a picture book about endangered Western Ground Parrots.
Several of her short stories have been published, including one in the 2024 Albany-Kinjarling and Great Southern Authors Anthology. With English as her second language, she grew up with a foot in two cultures which gives her a different perspective of the world: that the most obvious view is not the only one. As a teacher Rosemary enables others to find their written voice so they can bring to life the stories they are passionate about.
