209: Mapping Your Novel
Have you always wanted to write a novel but struggled to represent what you see in your mind on the page? This 5-day course helps writers of all levels develop the techniques and skills needed to do just that. During each writing exercise-led session, award-winning author A. R. Levett guides you through developing different aspects to form the basis of your story, from the premise, conflict, and characters, to the theme and the plot. By the end of the course, you will have developed a basis from which you can build the rest of your novel.

A. R. Levett B.A., B.Cmm.(Hons) is an award-winning, emerging WA author. For a decade he has studied the craft of creative writing and helped budding writers hone their skills and turn their ideas into engaging stories with his Story Mentoring services. He has taught at Edith Cowan University, presented workshops for the WA writing community, and served on the KSP Board of Management. He is currently writing an epic speculative-fiction series and writes in a variety of genres and forms. He is passionate about storytelling and helping authors bring out the best in their stories.
