115: Casting Three Ways
Using cuttlebone, Mt Barker stone and delft clay, students will explore casting techniques suitable for creating one-off jewellery works, or reproducing in metal, found objects with interesting textures. Add to your own jewellery collection with works you have designed and manufactured yourself with the help of Jill Parnell.

Jill Parnell
Jill Parnell studied at Claremont Art Centre and Carine College for Diplomas in Art Studies 1989 and Art and Design 1995. She exhibits regularly within Australia and overseas and has received many awards in Japan. An enamel specialist, she teaches at Fremantle Arts Centre and has conducted many workshops and Master Classes in Western Australia and the Eastern States. Jill received commissions for the Mayoral Chains for Cambridge, Victoria Park and Joondalup and has a small enamel painting in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Enamel in Salou, Spain.
