Step into an authentic Italian kitchen and spend five delicious mornings learning the traditions of Italian home cooking. Rather than simply following recipes, this is an invitation to explore the heart and soul of the Italian home.
Our journey begins in the pantry—the foundation of every meal. You’ll discover the essential building blocks of Italian flavour, from the secret of the perfect soffritto to the aroma of garden-fresh herbs. As the week unfolds, each morning builds naturally on the last as we preserve the bounty of the Great Southern summer, bake rustic breads, and master the art of handmade pasta.
The centrepiece of our week is my own Mama’s Lasagna recipe—a dish filled with history and heart. Throughout the course, you’ll learn the stories and "Nonna’s Wisdom" behind the food, gaining the confidence to host your own authentic Italian feast. We conclude on Friday by setting a long table to share the magnificent feast we have spent the week preparing.
“A tavola non si invecchia” – At the table, one never grows old.
