Advanced Copper Foiling for Stained Glass Creations
With Mark Hewson

Take your stained glass artistry to the next level in this advanced workshop with Mark Hewson, where experienced students will create a stunning fused stained glass and copper foiled lamp shade. Designed for those who already have the skills to craft stained glass panels, windows, or objects, this course offers the chance to refine technique and explore exciting new possibilities.

This immersive experience includes two off-site visits to Torbay Glass Studio:

- Trip 1: An early morning session to set up and fire the kiln

- Trip 2: An afternoon visit the following day to open the kiln and collect the fused glass

Back at Summer School, students will prepare and assemble their fused glass into a lamp using copper foil, developing the craftsmanship needed to complete the project with confidence. If unfinished by the end of the course, participants will have the skills to complete their lamp independently at home.

This workshop is perfect for artists ready to challenge themselves with an advanced stained glass project.
